Official Visits

North Carolina is divided into four regions (East, East Central, West Central, and West). Chapters receive Official Visits (OVs) based on region, with each region being visited every four years. Chapters less than 4 years old are also assigned an OV, regardless of region. OVs are conducted in person, if possible, by the state organizer or her proxy. The OV consists of a leadership team meeting, a chapter meeting, and Exemplification of the Ceremony of Initiation (COI)*, typically workshop style, or an actual COI. * This covers the requirement of an annual COI exemplification in a year when a COI is not conducted.

2028-2029 – West Central Region (C, E, G, K, N, P, R, S, AB, AF, AH, AK, AU, AX, BQ, BR, BZ, CC, CE, CI, CP, CW, CZ, DD, DE), DF

TEA (Teach, Empower, Affirm) Visits are assigned by region and conducted by the state organizer or her proxy every four years. TEA visits are a way for the state board to connect more frequently with each chapter. The goal is to assist the local chapter officers with any questions and to share the fantastic news of all the great things that are happening within our local and state chapters. TEA visits are conducted virtually. They consist of a leadership team meeting.

Love Visits are conducted by the state organizer or her proxy as needed. Love visits are conducted based on any information the state executive board receives that suggests a chapter could use additional attention or love. The Love visit could be conducted with only the leadership team, specific roles, or with the entire chapter, at the discretion of the organizer.
